At Riversdale School we use Hero as our student management system. This is where we store all information about your child. Hero is also our major communication link between home and school. Follow the instructions below to download the app on your phone

• Search for Hero by linc-ed and download onto your phone, or open in your internet browser on your computer

• Open up and type in your email address, click next

• Click new user. An email will be sent to set your password.

• Once set you will see your child’s/children's photo and be able to access the parent portal.

Ministry of Education Enrolment Scheme

The Ministry of Education has declared an enrolment scheme for Riversdale School that will take effect from the beginning of 2026.

Riversdale School Enrolment Scheme Details

Applications for the enrolments for out of zone students for the 2026 year have closed and the board has informed those who have been accepted to enrol. Thank you to those involved in the process.

 

For the rest of the 2025 school year Riversdale School will be guided by the principles of the Enrolment Scheme and not accept enrolments for students who live outside of the zone after the 1st of December 2025 as the zones will come into effect in 2026.

The Riversdale School Board has developed a procedure to assist in the ballot for any out of zone enrolments.
