Congratulations to all of the students who represented Riversdale School at Northern Athletics yesterday. You should all be very proud of your efforts. Information will be sent out next week for children who qualified for Southland Athletics. Southland Athletics will be held in Invercargill on Saturday 27 March.
School Photos
Traditionally school photos have always been towards the end of the year. Due to our photographers change in work schedule, this year school photos will be on Thursday 25 March. All children get an individual photo taken and a class photo. Sibling photos take place before school from 8.30am for any families wanting sibling photos.
Swimming
Monday 15 March is the last day of school swimming. All children need their togs on Monday for assessment.
Northern Swimming Practice
Northern swimming practice started this week with Miss Stevenson. Entries will be done next week. Children need to be able to confidently swim at least one length of the school pool to qualify. If your child is 8 or older on 26 March and wishes to train for Northern Swimming, please ensure they continue to bring their togs each day.
Home and School
The Riversdale Home and School are having a meeting on Tuesday 23 March at 7.30pm in the school staffroom. It would be great to see parents coming along to support the Home and School and to discuss fundraising for 2021.
Pool Meeting
The Pool Committee are holding a meeting on Monday 15 March at 7.30pm in the School Staffroom to discuss heating options for the pool. We would love to see people attend this meeting to support the committee with fundraising ideas to raise funds so we can enjoy a warmer pool.

Thursday 15 April - Community Assembly in the Hall at 1.30pm. All welcome.
Friday 16 April - Last day of Term 1.
Sunday 25 April - ANZAC Day. All children are asked to attend, especially those in the school choir.
