(From the older sibling the younger learns how to do it, from the younger sibling the older learns how to be tolerant/everyone has responsibilities, both the old and the young).
Room 1 had a fabulous camp at Tautuku last week. The children got to experience many outdoor activities. Thank you to all of the parents who helped out with camp. Below are some photos from camp.
Community Assembly
Next Thursday, 15 April, we are having our first Community Assembly in the School Hall at 1.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and see what the students have been up to. Room 1 will be hosting assembly and all classes will share something they have been learning. We look forward to seeing you all there.
Riversdale School and Community Pool
The pool is now closed. Please return all keys to the school.
School Photos
School photo orders must be returned to school by Thursday 15 April. After this date the school will no longer accept school photo orders. If you wish to order school photos after this date, you will need to contact Geoff Horrell directly on (03) 208 9675.
Riversdale Recreation Reserves Committee Donation
A huge thank you to the Riversdale Recreation Reserves Committee for their generous donation to the school. We have purchased new picnic tables for the children to sit at for lunch.
Cricket
All children who played cricket on Tuesdays must send $20 cash in a named envelope to school asap, if you haven’t already done so.
Coming Up This Term …
Thursday 15 April - Community Assembly in the Hall at 1.30pm. All welcome.
Friday 16 April - Last day of Term 1.
Sunday 25 April - ANZAC Day. All children are asked to attend, especially those in the school choir.
Monday 3 May - First day of Term 2.
