At Riversdale School children are awarded House Points for displaying the school values of; respectful, responsible and resilient. Children are working towards achieving values targets.

50 House Points = Bronze Values Award

75 House Points = Silver Values Award

100 House Points = Gold Values Award

Congratulations to Ella and Amelia who received their Bronze award last Friday. Ka Pai!

Community Assembly

We will be holding our first Community Assembly for the Term on Thursday 24 September in the School Hall at 1.30pm, if we have changed to Alert Level 1. Room 7 will be hosting and each class will share something they have been learning. We look forward to seeing you all there if we are in Level 1.

Teacher Only Day

Next Term on Friday 20 November we will be having a Teacher Only Day. On a Teacher Only Day school is closed to students so parents are required to find alternative childcare.

Prime Lamb and Calf Competition Friday 12 February, 2021

Just a reminder about this major annual fundraiser – half of the proceeds come to the

School!


Keep 1 calf or 3 lambs out NOW to be in to WIN some great prizes and support the Community and School.

Thursday 24 September Community Assembly in the School Hall at 1.30pm (if Level 1). Host Room 7.

Friday 25 September Last day of Term 3.

Monday 12 September First day of Term 4.

Values Certificates

The following students that received certificates for displaying the values of being respectful, resilient and responsible, at Riversdale School. Ka Pai! You all displayed the school values so well last week.

Tennis season begins again in Term 4.

If you are wanting to play Saturday Competition Tennis please contact Jo Clarkson.

A great age to start playing competitive tennis is

7 or 8 years old, unless you can already have a ‘rally’. Juniors play in the morning and Seniors play afternoons.

Love Tennis - All welcome, it’s free! Riversdale Tennis Courts on Saturday 10 and Sunday 22 October from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Racquets supplied, barbecue, prizes, giveaways. A fun event for all ages.
