Riversdale School Newsletter Term 4 Week 2

Tena Koutou Parents, Caregivers and Whanau.

Hello everyone,

Kia ora e hoa mä.

Mā te tuakana ka tōtika te teina, mā te teina ka tōtika te tuakana

(From the older sibling the younger learns how to do it, from the younger sibling the older learns how to be tolerant/everyone has responsibilities, both the old and the young.)

Super Exciting News …

The Board is very delighted to announce two pieces of exciting news for 2022.

Firstly, Georgia Callander has been appointed to the recently advertised junior school permanent position. The team is really excited that Georgia will be with us for as long as Mrs Stevens has been, at least!

Secondly, in 2022 the school will become a six teacher school – wohoo! This is due to our increasing roll number. The Board has advertised a middle school permanent position, which closes at 5:00pm tomorrow. The appointment committee will work through the appointment process in the coming week.

School Uniform Survey

Please contact the school if you did not receive the School Uniform Survey via email.

The Board believes that a 75% response rate to this survey is necessary to determine whether our school whanau supports further steps being taken on this or not.

The survey will be closing on Monday 8 November, so please take the opportunity to make your views known.
