Riversdale School Newsletter Term 4 Week 7

Tena Koutou Parents, Caregivers and Whanau.

Hello everyone,

Kia ora e hoa mä.

He aroha whakatō, he aroha ka puta mai.

If kindness is sown, then kindness is what you shall receive.

The term is flying by, with three weeks left. This week the students listened to a presentation from ‘I am Hope’ about kindness.

The builders have started work on the Archgola in the quad area and we look forward to seeing the finished product. This will be a great area for children to play under on wet days and for classes to work under when needed.

The Riversdale Home and School has kindly donated the cake auction money back to the school to purchase more sandpit toys for the new sandpit.

The shade sails have been put up and look fabulous. Hopefully sand will be delivered next week and the sandpit will be complete and ready for excited children to enjoy.

We wish to advise that very regretfully that Miss Stiven and Mrs Jackson will not be returning in 2021. We wish them all the best on their next adventure.

We are delighted to advise that Lynette King has been appointed to the permanent teaching position starting in 2021.

Helpers wanted!!!

The Home and School would appreciate helpers to pack the baking mixes on Monday 30 November from 7pm - 9pm and Tuesday 1 December from 9am - 11am. If you can help out at either of these times, please text Wendy Scully on 027 4440438 to let her know when you are available to help.
